Call them overnight oats, or bircher-oats – either way, they’re gloriously creamy yet low in calories – and truly satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 40g gluten-free oats
  • 200g skimmed milk
  • 15g sultanas
  • 80g apple, grated
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon, to serve

Method

  1. Put the oats and sultanas in a bowl or jar. Add the milk and allow to soak overnight.
  2. In the morning, stir in the grated apple and a pinch of cinnamon then serve.
