Braised herby radishes

This 15 minute radish recipe makes a pretty side dish. Make it your own by choosing your preferred choice of fresh herbs.

Ingredients

  • 50g butter
  • 350g mixed seasonal radishes
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 100ml dry white wine
  • Large handful of mixed chopped fresh dill, parsley and mint

Method

  1. Heat the butter in a large deep pan over a medium-high heat, then add the radishes, halved or quartered depending on size. Turn down the heat to medium and cook for 1 minute.
  2. Add the garlic and white wine. Turn up the heat and bubble for 5 minutes until most of the liquid has evaporated. Season, then stir in a large handful of mixed chopped fresh dill, parsley and mint. Serve warm.
