Amaretti tortoni with orange brandy snaps

This quick, creamy amaretti dessert recipe served with orange brandy snaps looks impressive but is easy to make.

If you don’t have individual moulds, freeze the tortoni in a 1-litre loaf tin, then slice to serve. Serve any leftover brandy snaps with coffee after a meal on another day.
The tortoni can be made up to 1 month in advance. The brandy snaps can be made up to 3 days ahead and stored in an airtight container in a cool place.
