Ingredients
- 100g porridge oats
- 500-600ml water (or milk and water)
- Sugar or syrup, to taste
Method
- 1. Place the oats and water in a pan over a medium-low heat, adding a pinch of salt, if you wish. Cook, stirring frequently, for 7-10 minutes until the oats are cooked. The mixture should be creamy and thick.
- 2. Spoon into warm bowls and sweeten with sugar or syrup if you like, and maybe a dash of cream or milk. Serve with fresh fruit, if you like.
