Chocolate coated strawberries

This sexy Valentine’s Day dessert couldn’t be easier or quicker to make. Chocolate-coated strawberries are a decadent end to a meal with a glass of fizz, and a portion of these strawberries are still one of your five a day…
Or, how about these mini chocolate meringue kisses as a sweet treat at the end of a Valentine’s Day meal?
- 6 strawberries
- 50g plain chocolate
- Melt chopped plain chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water or microwave for 30 seconds until smooth.
- Dip the bottom half of 6 strawberries into the chocolate and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Chill for approximately 15 minutes until the chocolate is set, then serve.
