Got a whopper? Then here’s a beautiful and simple one-pan whole roast salmon recipe. It makes a brilliant centre piece for a group of hungry people.

For 10 servings
If your salmon is a whopper and you don’t have a large enough roasting tin, cut off the head before cooking.
If you like, pop the fish skin (step 5) in the oven for 5 minutes to crisp up for crackling to serve on the side.
