Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp dry vermouth
  • 60ml gin or vodka
  • 2 guindillas or any pickled green chillies, drained, plus a splash of their brine

Method

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then pour in the vermouth. Seal and shake for 5 seconds, then pour away most of the liquid (leave a little extra in if you prefer a ‘wet’ martini). Add the gin (or vodka) and guindillas brine to the shaker, stir for 30 seconds, then strain into a chilled martini or coupe glass. Garnish with the chillies on a cocktail stick.
