Coke float

There’s something deliciously retro about a coke float – two ingredients merging together which, on paper sound odd, but in reality offer the best of both worlds, with the citrussy fizz of the cola giving way to creamy vanilla. The final few slurps, where the melted ice cream and cola have fully combined, is the best bit!
Ingredients
- 330ml Coca-Cola, chilled
- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
- 1 glacé cherry to decorate (optional)
Method
- Pour the cola into a tall glass. Gently place the scoop of ice cream in the glass – it will float on top. Decorate with a cherry (if you like), stick a straw in and enjoy.
