Veering into milkshake territory, this decadent drink actually contains a bit of fizz thanks to the soda water. It works brilliantly, lightening the rich milk and ice cream to create a delightful tipple straight out of 1950s America.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp chocolate syrup
- 330ml chocolate-flavoured milk, chilled
- 1 scoop chocolate ice cream
- Soda water, chilled
- Squirty cream to decorate (optional)
- Glace cherry to decorate (optional)
Method
- Drizzle the inside of a tall glass with the chocolate syrup, then half-fill it with chocolate milk. Carefully add the scoop of ice cream on top, then gently pour in the soda water until the glass is full.
- Decorate with squirty cream and a cherry, if you like, and dig in.
