This seared steak, mango and radish salad recipe is a brightly coloured, quick and easy main course dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 sirloin steaks
  • Vegetable oil
  • Bunch of fresh radishes
  • 1 ripe mango
  • Small bag of herb leaf salad
  • French dressing

Method

  1. Trim and discard the fat from steaks, then season and cut into thin strips. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large frying pan over a high heat. Add the beef, in batches, and stir-fry for a few minutes until browned. Set aside on a plate lined with kitchen paper to cool slightly. 2. Slice radishes, then peel, stone and slice mango and put both into a large bowl.
  2. Add the beef, along with the salad. Season, drizzle with French dressing and gently toss to serve.
