Ingredients

  • 6 strawberries
  • 60ml white rum
  • 15ml lime juice
  • 15ml sugar syrup

Method

  1. Hull and roughly chop 5 of the strawberries, then put in the base of a cocktail shaker with the rum and muddle. Add the lime juice and syrup, top up with ice, then shake for 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with the remaining strawberry.

Quick wins & tips

Make this into a frozen daiquiri by whizzing the ingredients with crushed ice. You can use all sorts of soft fruit in place of the strawberries – berries or stone fruit work best.
