Strawberry spritz
- Published: 16 Jun 23

Our strawberry scorcher is based on a Bicicletta, an Italian spritz containing Campari, white wine and soda water. This fruitier number incorporates muddled strawberries, rosé wine and just a hint of red chilli for a lip-tingling finish.

It wouldn’t be summer without one…of course we’ve got a classic Aperol spritz recipe, too.
Ingredients
- 6 strawberries
- 30ml Campari
- 90ml rosé wine
- 50ml soda water
- 1 red chilli, sliced into rings
Method
- Hull and slice 5 of the strawberries, then put them in a cocktail shaker with the Campari and rosé, reserving a few strawberry slices to garnish. Give everything a good bash and muddle with a spoon, muddler or the end of a rolling pin.
- Fill a wine glass with ice. Strain the Campari mixture through a fine sieve into the glass, then top up with soda water and gently stir. Garnish with the reserved strawberry slices and whole strawberry, along with a few slices of chilli.
