July seasonal recipes
Summer is in full swing and luckily for us, July’s seasonal produce brings a glittering gamut of colour to liven up dishes. Expect cherries, hedgerows heavy with berries, fennel and lots of other summer salad favourites including aubergines and courgettes.
If you’re lucky enough to have a garden or outside space for some al fresco meals, then turn to easy transportable platters of food like a runner bean pasta salad or an impressive (but easy) whole fish dish.
For puddings, there should be loads of in-their-prime raspberries and strawberries available. Make the most of their freshness with a boozy raspberry eton mess (leave out the liqueur if you like) or a strawberry and vanilla shortcake.
