Fusilli recipes

Got a packet of fusilli in the cupboard? We have all the fusilli recipes you could need to use it to its full potential.

The pasta shape hails from Southern Italy and is perfect for trapping sauces in its signature spiral shape. It’s traditionally formed by rolling strips of pasta over a rod. The name derives from ‘fuso’, meaning spindle, and you’ll find several variations in Italy: short spirals (fusilli), longer strands (fusilli lunghi), a hollow version (fusilli bucati) and more.

We have a wealth of flavour-packed fusilli recipes to try: opt for a baked pasta with mushrooms, white wine and cream or keep things light with a pea pesto. Go plant-based with our creamy vegan cashew and artichoke pasta or mix things up with a roasted chicken and leek fusilli pie. Whether you need a vegetarian option or fancy something meatier, you’ll find an idea in our collection.
