Elderflower creams with brown sugar

This elderflower cream recipe is such a simple dessert. You can make it ahead of serving and it’s perfect for spring or summer.

Ingredients

  • 300ml double cream
  • 3 tbsp elderflower cordial
  • 1 tbsp icing sugar
  • Soft brown sugar

Method

  1. Whip the double cream with the elderflower cordial and icing sugar. Spoon into glasses or pots and sprinkle with soft brown sugar.
  2. Chill in the fridge for 20 minutes, until the sugar has melted into the cream. Bring out of the fridge 20 minutes before serving.

  1. Make the creams up to 24 hours in advance, but don’t top with sugar until around an hour before serving.
