Raspberry season comes in two waves. The first, summer-fruiting raspberries, are usually ready to pick in June and July. Later varieties are at their best from mid-August to September. Raspberries are widely available at pick-your-own farms across the UK. Once you’ve picked a punnet or two, have a go at some of the raspberry recipes below.

Raspberries are the perfect mix of sweet and tart –  making them the perfect partner for cream, meringue, chocolate, custard and other rich dessert staples.
